How is Environ AVST different from a standard retinol?

Most retinol products are sold at a single fixed concentration, which can cause peeling, dryness, and irritation, especially for reactive skin. The AVST system gradually increases vitamin A concentration across five levels, allowing the skin to acclimatise at each stage. This significantly reduces the irritation that typically comes with introducing vitamin A.

Why does inflammation from a retinoid matter so much?
